After scheduling your initial session, you will receive an email from me with a link to the secure Client Portal, where you can fill out initial paperwork online, so that we can get started right away in your first session. I am currently seeing clients in person and virtually (Missouri and North Carolina residents only).
You are the expert on you, so my role is to understand your story and goals for therapy in order to then use my training and expertise to create a plan for accomplishing your goals. As an anxiety and OCD therapist, I understand that sometimes the most helpful exposures occur outside the office, and I will work with you to accommodate that if we decide this would be beneficial to you.
Sessions are $140 and 50-55 minutes. I accept cash, check, MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express.
I am not contracted with insurance companies and am an out-of-network provider. This means that the session fee is due at each session and will be billed through the secure and HIPAA-compliant client portal. I am happy to provide you with a superbill (itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. Not all insurance companies cover out-of-network mental health care. You are responsible for researching and understanding your individual insurance plan.
I would encourage you to contact your insurance company and ask the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health outpatient counseling?
Is there a deductible for out-of-network benefits and if so, have I met it?
Will I be reimbursed the full amount or a portion of the session fee?
Does my out-of-network plan limit my therapy sessions per year and if so, how many are allowed?
